A sixth competency hearing has been scheduled next month for a man accused of stabbing his former girlfriend and her mother to death. Jacob Cayer faces two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Investigators say he stabbed Sabrina Teague and Heesun “Sunny” Teague to death in June 2016. Investigators say Cayer also attacked Teague’s boyfriend, Joe Kennedy, but he survived and called 9-1-1. The trial has been delayed several times over questions about Cayer’s mental fitness for trial.
