The Clintonville City Council has awarded the contract for a new tender body for the fire department to Marion Body Works. The new tender body will be paid for with capital funds when the body is completed in 2020. The following bids were received: Custom Fab and Body – $292,535, Marion Body Works – $326,293, and Seagrave – $394,885. According to the committee report, the committee concluded that the bid provided by Custom Fab and Body (CFB) was the least compliant to the specifications.
