The Clintonville City Council awarded City Administrator Sharon Eveland a $5,000 performance bonus and a $27,000 retention
incentive payment. She must stay in her current position for three years for the incentive. The council approved the bonus and payment after meeting in closed session at the Council meeting. The press release said the bonus is “in recognition of her impressive work thus far.” “While Eveland is at an early point in her career here and as a city administrator in general, she has accomplished some amazing things for the city of Clintonville. In a short time, she has garnered the city $1.2 million dollars in grant funding for the dam, streets, building and equipment improvements, and private expansion. Other accomplishments included Eveland leading the city through its 2040 Comprehensive Plan update and creating two new Tax Incremental Districts to bring a new 48-unit apartment complex to the city.
