Construction is winding down on highway 22 between County B and Zingler Street, & Main Street and County BE. Here is the latest from Wisdot on the construction in the area.
Shawano County
Highway: WIS 22
Location: Between County B and Zingler Street & Main Street and County BE
Schedule: July 15, 2019 to November 1, 2019
Traffic impacts:
- Single lane closures and 10’ lane widths on WIS 22 between County HHH/Airport Road and County BE will continue through October.
- Single Lane Closures on WIS 22/Green Bay Street between Fairview Avenue and Airport Road will occur on October 1, pending weather.
- Flagging operations will occur periodically September 25 through October 2 on Main Street between the Wolf River and Zingler Avenue, expect delays, plan alternative routes as needed.
Anticipated work scheduled for next week:
- Finish paving Main street between Wolf River and Zingler Avenue.
- Place gravel shoulders on Green Bay Street between Woodlawn Drive and Airport Road
- Pavement marking various areas throughout the project as needed.
