A 32 year old Clintonville man is facing a variety of charges after a short high speed chase In Clintonville Wednesday. Police say an officer attempted to make a traffic stop, when the man took off at a high rate of speed before turning down a road near the Clintonville Airport. After his car got stuck in marshy grass, he took off on foot toward HWY I but was taken into custody after a short chase. The suspect had outstanding warrants from the Shawano and Waupaca County Sheriff Departments. Clintonville Police were assisted by the Waupaca Sheriffs Office and Marion Police.
