Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to the San Diego Padres snapped Milwaukee’s four-game winning streak and dropped the Brewers three games behind St. Louis. They’re still tied with the Chicago Cubs for the final National League wild-card spot. Milwaukee was held to three hits and Keston Hiura’s 17th home run accounted for the only scoring. Adrian Houser took the loss. Danielson Lamet stopped Brewer batters on three hits in six innings, striking out 14. Jordan Lyles goes for his 12th victory when he starts this afternoon’s game at Miller Park.
