Robert H. “Bob” Juds, age 82 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, with his family by his side.
Bob was born on November 17, 1936 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Lutzke) Juds. He attended and graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Reserves from 1955 to 1957. On November 27, 1957, he was united in marriage to Clarice Schroeder at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Over the years Bob worked in many different capacities for General Motors. At the end of his career with GM, he was the Security Administrator. Bob retired at the age of 56, following 38 years with the company.
Bob enjoyed fishing, boating and camping with his family. He attended his children’s events and camped all over. He loved his golden retrievers, Barney, Boots, and Chub. Bob was known for having a well-kept lawn and garden. He was a good and faithful member of St. Jakobi Lutheran Church. Bob, over the years was active in the church including singing in the choir, serving as an usher and elder in the church.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Clarice; his children, John (Jean) Juds, Kevin (Bonnie) Juds, Jeffrey (Sue) Juds, and Julie (Joe) Borchardt; grandchildren, Jason (Callie) Juds, Holly Juds, Ashley (Jason) Lent, Lisa (Blake) Borchardt, Trace (Emily) Borchardt, Brandon Juds, and Kayla Juds; four great grandchildren; and a brother in law, Robert Schroeder.
A funeral service for Bob will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at 1:45 PM at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church in the Town of Richmond. Rev. Travis Kleinschmidt will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at the church, and continue until the time of service.
