Green Bay’s Sustainability Commission has a plan to have the city move to 100-percent carbon-free electricity by 2050. That mirrors the goal for the state set by Governor Tony Evers. Green Bay City Council members have approved the installation of a solar-powered car charging station at Leicht Park as part of the approach. It will become the first charging station in the city completely powered by solar energy.
