(Chilton, WI) — The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate at the jail in Chilton. Corrections officers found an 18-year-old man not breathing early this morning (Wednesday). Sheriff Mark Wiegert said lifesaving efforts were initiated by officers until E-M-S personnel arrived. The inmate was taken to a local hospital where he died. The man’s name hasn’t been released. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the case .
