On Tuesday, August 27th the Waupaca County Highway Department will be working on maintenance and sealing of the Shawano Street and Pearl Street Bridges. They will begin around 7:00 am, close off the Shawano Street bridge and detour traffic around to the Pearl Street Bridge. Once maintenance work is complete on the Shawano Street Bridge, the Highway Department will close off the Pearl Street Bridge and detour traffic around to the Shawano Street Bridge. This work is anticipated to take one day to complete and is weather dependent. If it rains on Tuesday the work will be postponed to Wednesday, August 28th.
