The Shawano Police Department is asking the community for assistance in identifying the man who broke into the Shawano County Fair office this morning. Chief Dan Mauel says officers responded to a break in call at the fairgrounds office under the grandstands. When officers arrived they found a burglary had taken place, but no one was found. Police did retrieve surveillance video at the scene and are looking to indentify the person captured on film. The chief said merchandise and money were taken.
