Menominee State of Emergency due to Storms & Power Outages
Menominee Tribe and County are continuing to provide assistance to residents who are without power.
The Red Cross will be delivering food to the following 5 shelter locations. Estimated arrival time is 6:00 PM. Ready-to-eat meals and bottled water will be available at the following shelter locations:
• Middle Village – Maehnowesekiyah – Opened from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Keshena Area – Menominee Tribal Recreation Center – Opened from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• South Branch – South Branch Community Center – Opened from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Zoar Area – Zoar Ceremonial Building – Opened from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Zoar/Neopit Area – Menominee Tribal School – Opened from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
You can go to any of the shelters for bathroom use, drinking water and to charge cellphones.
We encourage everyone to check on their family, friends, and neighbors, who may need assistance.
