
Judith A. “Judy” Dillenburg, age 79 of Shawano, passed away early Saturday morning, July 13, 2019 with her loving family at her side, at Bellin Hospital following a brief illness.
Judy was born October 22, 1939 in Shawano, the daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (Grosskreutz) Rades. She attended Shawano Schools, graduating from SHS in 1958. Following high school she attended the Humboldt School of Airline Technology. On July 29, 1961 she was united in marriage to Gerald Dillenburg at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. The couple lived in Shawano their entire marriage. Besides being a wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy was employed at the Shawano County Treasurer’s Office and worked in retail at various stores in Shawano.
Judy is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. She loved trips to the casino and following the Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed bird watching, and tending to her flowers. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Gerald, of Shawano; two children, Mark (Becky) Dillenburg of Shawano, and Dawn (Randy) Lorge, both of Shawano; three grandchildren, Stacie (Nicholas Moraza) Dillenburg of Milwaukee, Tyler Dillenburg of Green Bay, and Brett (Samantha Leiser) Lorge of Shawano; one brother, Gene (Kim) Rades of Shawano; four sisters, Mary Baldwin of Madison, Linda (Aimo) Jarvi of Appleton, Bonnie (Donnie) Buchert of Arizona, and Cheryl (Bob) Giese of Pelican Lake. She is further survived by three brothers-in-law, Al (Jan) Dillenburg and Don (Donnabelle) Dillenburg, both of Shawano, and Ken Dillenburg of Green Bay; and three sisters-in-law, Carol Stefl, Rita (Art) Lohrengel, and Joanie (Jim) Vanlerberghe, all of Green Bay; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Funeral Mass for Judy Dillenburg will be celebrated on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Fr. Scott Valentyn will be the Celebrant. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 AM and continue until the hour of service.
