
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office said a 61-year-old man died after a motorcycle accident on Sunday.
It happened on State Highway 32 near County Highway W in the town of Mountain. When deputies arrived on scene they found the operator of the motorcycle, a 61 year old male from Appleton was struck by a car driven by a 32 year old male from Phelps. The 61 year old male was transported to the hospital by Mountain Ambulance but died while being transported from his injuries, the driver of the vehicle was not injured. An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Mountain Fire Department, Mountain Rescue Ambulance Service, Shawano Paramedics and County Rescue Ambulance Service.
On Friday June 28, 2019 at approximately 3:42 PM, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch Center was notified of a one vehicle accident on Hwy 41/141 near Oak Orchard Road in the Township of Abrams. The vehicle was reported to be rolled over and two people were injured.
When deputies arrived on scene they found one occupant a 73 year old male from Green Bay in the vehicle. A second victim, a 71 year old female from Green Bay, was ejected from the vehicle. Both the male and female were transported to hospitals in Green Bay where the female was pronounced dead.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Abrams Fire Department, Little Suamico Fire Department and County Rescue Ambulance Service.
