A good Samaritan interrupted an attack on two out-of-state visitors Saturday morning in a Madison park. Fifty-eight-year-old Gary D. Troutman Junior reportedly started screaming at a couple in Brittingham Park and kicked a 69-year-old man from Iron River, Michigan in the face. Police say a man walking his dog saw the attack, handed his dog’s leash to the Michigan woman and tackled Troutman to the ground. He held Troutman until police arrived and arrested the intoxicated suspect.
