
Ronald W. Roff, age 70, of Tigerton (formerly Comstock, WI) passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at his home.
Ronald Walter Roff was born on November 20, 1948 in Rice Lake to Walter and Loretta (Turcotte) Roff. He grew up in the Rice Lake / Almena area and graduated from Cumberland High School in 1967. He dairy farmed with his father on the family farm in the Town of Crystal Lake, Barron County. Ron farmed his entire life but was forced to retire early in 2013 due to his health. He was married on December 21, 1972 to Lela K. Jeska at Zion Lutheran Church in Almena. The couple was blessed with six children and later parted ways. Ron was united in marriage on July 28, 1995 to Lynette B. Mueller at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Tigerton.
Ron enjoyed going to farm auctions, playing pool, deer hunting, and cooking. He especially loved going to tractor pulling events with his Massey-Harris 101 Senior Tractor. Ron served as President and Treasurer for a number of years with the Indianhead Tractor Pullers Association of Barron County. He was a people person who always made friends wherever he went. Ron will be remembered most as quite a character and for his wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lynette; and six children, Jeremy (Sherri) Roff of Comstock, Rhonda (Philip) Koehn of Almena, Robyn Roff of Almena, Charity Roff of Almena, Josh Roff of Bloomer, and Tillie Jo (Andy) Callow of Cumberland. There are 13 grandchildren: Devin, Sara, Trevor, Collin, Derrick, Terrence, Felicity, Spencer, Alexis, Samantha, Trinity, Hannah, and Hunter. He is further survived by a sister, Shirley (Robert) Mykytiuk of Almena; many other relatives and friends. Ron is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 17th at 5:00 PM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Tigerton, with Rev. Dean Suehring officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
