The FBI says Robert Gordon hacked into other people’s Kohl’s cash discount accounts and sold off their coupons online. They allege he made around 93-thousand dollars in the scam. Police got tipped off after complaints were made, and tracked Gordon through the Twitter account and other digital trails he left online. If convicted, he could face a maximum of 45 years in prison. Parents should be keeping a closer eye on their kids’ social media and phones this summer, and make sure they’re not being scammed.
