A former teacher at D-C Everest High School has had a February court date set. Fifty-six-year-old Peter Schmidt is charged with the sexual assault of a teenage girl. The victim says he lured her to his home where he tied her up and raped her in August 2016. She says he continued to contact her after the alleged attack. Schmidt has a status conference scheduled for next month.
