
The ninth-annual 5K/10 Goody Triathlon took place Friday morning .
Students with disabilities from 14 area schools in 10 school districts participated with the support of peer mentors and staff/volunteers coordinating the event.
Kids with special needs teamed up with students from local school districts from Pulaski, Howard-Suamico, Bonduel, Ashwaubenon, Shawano, Freedom, West De Pere, Southern Door, Green Bay, and the Menominee Indian School districts.
The race started at Pulaski Community Middle School pool (911 S. St. Augustine St.) with check in and set up 8-9:30 a.m., National Anthem at 9:45, and swimming starting at 10 a.m..
Participants swam, biked, and ran/walk a 5K/10K course through the Village of Pulaski and finished at Saputo Stadium located at Pulaski High School(1040 S. St. Augustine St.).
