Outagmie County Coroner has released the name of the boy that died in a crash Thursday morning.
9-year-old Noah Taylor from Kaukauna was the passenger in the car. He died at the scene.
An autopsy will be done with preliminary findings. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation say it happened around 8 a.m. Thursday. They believe traffic had slowed on westbound Highway 15 due to a car turning left. A separate car was traveling west and was unable to stop fast enough. Officials say that car swerved left and hit the back corner of a pickup truck.
After that first collision, officials say the car was going the wrong way in the left lane and hit the school bus head-on.
Officials say the driver of the car was severely injured and the passenger, the 10-year-old in the back seat, was killed. The driver of the car and the school bus were sent to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. There were no children on the school bus at the time of the crash.
