Two northeast Wisconsin men are sentenced to eight years in prison for the fatal beating of an 18-year-old in Milwaukee. Nineteen-year-old Brandon Guyton-Denn of Green Bay and 20-year-old Shawn Leitner of Manitowoc pleaded guilty to second-degree reckless homicide in the 2017 death of Jovanny Puga of Green Bay. Green Bay police heard in March of 2017 that Puga had been beating to death and thrown in the Milwaukee River. His body was never found and Puga was presumed dead. Co-defendant Emma Brud told police she brought Puga from Green Bay to Milwaukee and gave her car keys to Guyton-Denn knowing he was going to beat up the victim in Lincoln Park.
