The sexual assault trial for a former Little Chute teacher is scheduled to start May 22nd in Marinette County. A pre-trial conference for 46-year-old Jason Lavigne was held Thursday. Prosecutors say he assaulted a girl who was 16 at the time during a trip to his family cabin in Stephenson. He was convicted on a similar charge last week in Outagamie County. He will be sentenced on that conviction next month.
