Seymour Police say a man and two young children were found dead inside a home This (Friday) morning. Police were called to a home in the 600 block of N. Main Street for a domestic disturbance call around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night. When police were unable to make contact with those inside, the SWAT team was called to the scene. Around 8 a.m. today (Friday), law enforcement was able to make entry into the home. Inside, a 35-year-old man, a three-year-old girl and a three-month-old girl were deceased, said Brett Stauber, Seymour public information officer. Stauber says there is no active threat at this time and evacuated residents in the area may return to their homes. N. Main Street will remain closed to the traffic between Pearl Street and Bronson Road, while the investigation continues. Seymour Police Chief, Richard Buntrock called it a very sad day in the city of Seymour to have a tragedy like this occur.
