A Waupaca man is going to prison for five years for running down a teenager, then leaving him to die on a rural road. Forty-seven-year-old Michael Pribbernow told investigators he drank 10 beers and four-or-five shots last July before the accident. He said he didn’t think he had hit anyone when he was interviewed six days later. Eighteen-year-old Timothy Cruse of Amherst was found dead on a rural road near Waupaca. Cruse’s D-N-A was found on the undercarriage of Pribbernow’s pickup.
