A 30 year old Shawano woman is accused of having sexual contact with a resident at Birch Hill Health Care Center. Samantha A. Cornell was a certified nursing assistant at the facility. Cornell allegedly kissed a woman and sexually fondled her while assisting her after a bathroom visit, and then assaulted the woman a second time during another bathroom visit later in the day. Cornell was ordered held on a $2,500 cash bond and faces a maximum 40 years in prison and $100,000 fine if convicted of second-degree sexual assault.
