There’s a possibility for some strong floods again this spring once all this snow starts melting, so it’s a good time to look at your flood insurance. Olivia Hwang with the State Commissioner of Insurance office says not having insurance can get extremely expensive.
You can find out your risk online at Flood Safe dot Gov, and find out what sort of extra insurance you might need. Most homeowners policies do not carry flood insurance by default.
