The city of Oconto is tapping into its past in order to help celebrate their sesquicentennial. Oconto beer makes a return. Community leaders are working with a Wisconsin brewery to bring back the white, blue and gold can. The beer inside will be a little different than the original, but similar in taste. Bars and retailers can start selling 12 ounce cans March 18, along with kegs for draft sales. The beer was brewed for 110 years until the local factory on Superior Avenue was closed in 1967.
