Former Republican Governor Scott Walker offers words of praise for the Democrat National Committee’s decision to hold its 2020 convention in Milwaukee. The selection became official Monday. Milwaukee beat out Miami and Houston, becoming one of the smallest cities to ever host such a big event. Walker says Milwaukee is a perfect location for the Democratic National Convention, adding its a “great thing for the city and the state.” Walker says having the convention in Wisconsin may motivate Republicans who might have been complacent about President Trump’s run for reelection.
