WIAA officials were yelling CHALLENGE, after former Packer coach Mike McCarthy confronted referees following a high school basketball game Tuesday night. Green Bay TV station Fox 11 News reports that security cameras show the coach berating officials after a playoff game between Pulaski and Notre Dame Academy. Video from security cameras at Pulaski High School showed McCarthy following game officials toward their locker room after the game, when he was reportedly verbally abusive. Pulaski high school athletic director Janel Batten told Fox 11 the behavior was “clearly unacceptable.” McCarthy’s step son plays for Notre Dame who lost by one point. A formal complaint has been submitted to the WIAA.
