Safe Haven wants to thank the community for helping them with their fundraising goal. The $425,000 goal has been reached and are very thankful to the community for supporting us. Safe Haven is a 24-hour domestic abuse shelter and the goal represents the end of a $425,000 capital campaign that began in September 2017. Most of the funds were used to expand and improve bedrooms and support services at the shelter in Shawano. The latest donations will allow completion of some of the smaller parts of the project, including new mattresses throughout the shelter, furniture updates for all the bedrooms, a play area for children and new security doors.
