In the spirit of helping others, students from Suring High School’s National Honor Society will be delivering teddy bears to the emergency department at ThedaCare Medical Center- Shawano today(Monday) at 2:00 p.m. The items are donated to the ThedaCare Family of Foundations and given to the emergency department at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano to distribute. As part of a student-led service project, the teddy bears were collected at basketball game in early January. Students collected about 100 teddy bears and have decided to donate the stuffed animals to different area organizations. Students hope the bears will help children when they are treated in the ThedaCare emergency department.
