A 37-year-old Whitelaw man was arrested following a gas drive-off at Kwik Trip in Manitowoc. According to the report, a man in a blue Dodge Caravan pulled into the gas station, pumped $43 worth of gas, and then left without paying. Police ran the license plate number and learned Karl R. Kinyon was the registered owner of the van. Police also learned this was Kinyon’s 23rd gas drive-off from Kwik Trips. The police report said Kinyon had not yet paid for 14 of the 23 drive-offs and owes Kwik Trip around $800. Five of the gas drive-offs occurred at Green Bay stores, one at the Bonduel store, three at Ashwaubenon stores, one at a De Pere store and anotherone at a different Kwik Trip store. Kinyon was arrested on suspicion of retail theft, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and felony bail jumping.
