Bank First recently presented a check to the Waupaca Community Chest for $4400 for its annual fund drive. The fund drive which has a goal of $80,000 will help several organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and several more community projects and efforts. The Community Chest was formerly known as the Waupaca Area United Way returned to its roots with its 2018 campaign. The organizations Allocation Committee will meet in the spring to decide how the fund will be dispersed based on the amount raised.
