The Sturgeon Bay Police Department says officers searched for a fugitive man out of Missouri, with a nationwide arrest warrant, who was possibly living in Sturgeon Bay. Officers say they found the man exiting a local business. They tried making contact with him and he attempted to run from them. Police then tried to control him physically and he resisted. Police then tasered the suspect and eventually took him into custody. Police say the man was also in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The police department is releasing no further information at this time.
