Winter Rec Fest in Waupaca will not be held this Saturday after the Park and Rec Department in Waupaca made the decision on Monday. The reasoning behind the decision was basically safety, they said due to unsafe conditions of the sled hill the event would have to be cancelled for this year. The event was to include sledding, a dog sled team, snowshoe hikes, food and fireworks.
