The Shawano Optimist Club and the Shawano Rotary Club are looking for someone who unselfishly gives time and talent to help others in the community. The two civic groups sponsor the Youth Volunteer Award and recognizes an area high school student who has embraced and demonstrated the spirit of volunteering and giving back to the community. It is all part of the Celebration of Giving and nominations have to be in by February 21st 2019 and nominees must reside in Shawano County. The winner will be selected and notified in early May.
