With the Spring Election coming on April 2nd the spring primary will happen on February 19th for those that have competition. Zone one in Pulaski will have a reduction in polling places down to seven but in New London School District the board voted not to cut the costs and put the hook on the municipalities for the cost of running the elections. The townships of Fremont, Winchester, Wolf River, Liberty, Deer Creek and Bear Creek have all asked to combine polling places as did the City of New London but all were denied by the New London School Board. Up for re-election include incumbents Virginia Schlais and Chris Martinson and they are being challenged by Pete Bosquez, Jimmy Pues, Tina Ruckdashel and Mary Swifka the Primary will narrow down the candidate field to four people for April 2nd.
