Authorities say a woman whose bizarre behavior helped uncover a chemical lab in the basement of a Green Bay home was formally charged Monday in connection with the case. Thirty-seven-year-old Jennifer Gross was charged in Brown County court with disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer. Prosecutors say the day before she was arrested, a neighbor reported Gross was running around outside in her underwear in 37-degree weather outside her boyfriend’s home on Redwood Drive. Inside, police found what they described as a “clandestine laboratory” with were a mix of powder and liquid industrial and household chemicals. Police checked several nearby sheds for Gross and found her the next day concealed in the basement. Prosecutors asked that Gross not be allowed any contact with her boyfriend or his mother, which was granted by the judge. The boyfriend, Michael Tracy Anderson, is charged with domestic violence and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
