Mistakes killed the Green Bay Packers in a 31-23 loss at Detroit Sunday afternoon. Mason Crosby missed five kicks and quarterback Aaron Rodgers lost a pair of fumbles as Green Bay’s record dropped to 2-2-1. The absence of wide receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison didn’t stop Rodgers from completing 32-of-52 passes for 442 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers get an extra day of rest before hosting the San Francisco 49ers Monday, October 15th. They trail the first-place Chicago Bears by one game in the N-F-C North standings.
