A man who was shot Tuesday afternoon on Green Bays east side is expected to survive.
The man, who is in his 50s, was shot in the abdomen Tuesday afternoon when he opened the door of an apartment 2000 block of Eastman Avenue, police said.
He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. Police believe it was not random shooting, Lt. Matt VanEgeren said Wednesday evening.
The incident remains under investigation and no one was in custody Wednesday afternoon, VanEgeren said.
The police department has not said how many people were involved in the incident, nor have they released a motive for the shooting.
