The Waupaca High School’s FFA took home top honors from the recent state FFA convention. Waupaca was named the state winner of the National Chapter Award, ranking first out of 238 chapters in the state. It is the 14th time in the last 18 years that Waupaca has earned the first place honor. The Waupaca chapter also was awarded first place in the Food in America Program, and numerous students were honored for their individual work in categories such as Beef and Dairy Production, Diversified Livestock, and Small Animal Production and Care. The convention was held at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center from June 11th through June 14th.
