A Marion man is in custody on a $2,500 cash bond after allegedly getting drugs delivered from California. 32 year old Tayseer T. Taha, formerly of Visaalia, California, is charged with felony counts of possession of Narcotic Drugs, 2nd offense possession of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The complaint alleges police intercepted a package of THC oil addressed to Taha at the Clintonville Post Office last Friday. They then waited for him to pick it up. Once he did, police served a warrant, allegedly finding hydrocodone in Taha’s hotel room. Court records indicate he was convicted of marijuana possession in California in 2012. If convicted on the Waupaca County charges, he could face up to 9 years in prison.
