David attended Special Education Classes at Clintonville Public School until he was sixteen years old. He was confirmed on November 5, 1989 by Rev. Robert Selle at Zion Lutheran Church, Embarrass.
David enjoyed riding his bike and he only had one speed…fast! His favorite pastime included watching old Western movies, coloring, drawing, completing jig saw puzzles, and going for long rides in the country. He celebrated most holidays and birthdays with his brother Mikes family. Eating out at local restaurants and often ordering chicken, corn, and lots of coffee was his special meal with his brother Mike. David was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Embarrass, and always cherished his visits with Pastor Jerabek.
Survivors include a brother, Mike (Pat) Wilson of Clintonville; three nieces, Kris (Jim) Gillette, Ann Samz, and Melissa Samz-Griffin; and one nephew, John (Carmen) Samz. He is further survived by a dear friend and caregiver, Pam; and one living brother and sister.

The family wishes to especially thank all the caregivers and support staff with Aurora Services of Waupaca. We also wish to thank Pastor Jerabek for years of visits, prayers, and sharing God’s words with our brother.
