A couple of good samaritans rescued a couple and six kids after their boat stalled. In De Perf a boat stalled this weekend while enjoying the weather at the De Perf Lock and Dam on Sunday. Fire and police rescue were unable to make an initial save because they were on the other side of the dam. However, bystanders nearby, Brian Keller and Aaron Morse jumped into action to help the stranded family. Keller took his jet ski to the boat and took the mother and children to shore by towing them in a raft. Morse took his boat out there to pick up the remaining party and towed the boat back to safety. Currents were strong enough to cause damage but nobody was injured during the incident.
