Charlotte A. Reynebeau, age 82 of Shawano, formerly of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, May 5, 2018 at her home.
Charlotte was born July 19, 1935 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Erwin and Marie (Wergin) Pleuss. She attended school in Manitowoc, graduating from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On May 7, 1955, she was united in marriage to Virgil “Butch” Reynebeau at Holy Family Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2005. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Kimberly. Charlotte was a homemaker, wife, and mother. When the children were older, she went to work at Kimberly High School as the office manager, and was there for over 30 years. Following her retirement, the couple spent winters in Sebastian, Florida and summers on Shawano Lake.
She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was very involved, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, money counter, and on the funeral lunch committee, to name a few. She was also known as the “gadget queen”. She was a master crafter and liked to read. She also liked keeping up with technology. Charlotte took great pride in her family, being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Bob) Biechler of Menasha, and Kathie (Jeff) Menting of Kimberly; five grandchildren, Rob (Mindy) Biechler, Amy (Michael) Vanden Boom, Ryan (Katie) Biechler, Ross (Noi) Biechler, and Rachel (Scott) Vander Sanden; eleven great-grandchildren; her special friend, Bill Erdmann of Shawano; and her sister by choice, Marlene Krema of Shawano. Charlotte is further survived by two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass for Charlotte will be celebrated on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Fr. Tom Farrell and Fr. Tom Reynebeau will concelebrate. Visitation will begin at the church on Friday from10:00 until the hour of Mass. Following Mass visitation will continue at the Chapel at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Friday. Entombment will follow at 4:00 PM at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
