The Pulaski Board of Education has approved the borrowing of money to help pay for athletic facility upgrades in the district.
The two-phase Field of Dreams Project is currently in Phase II, this includes two new softball fields, two new baseball fields as well as three tennis courts and additional practice fields and an upgrade to the middle school’s soccer field. The district says that so far over a $500,000 of the $2.2 million needed to pay for the baseball and softball fields has been raised.
Phase I of the project saw the construction of a new football field with field turf that opened in the fall of 2016.
