A Keshena man faces federal charges after he allegedly attempted to entice a minor into performing sex acts for money.
Mario Escalante, 41, allegedly used his phone to attempt to persuade a minor female to meet him with within the exterior boundaries of the Menominee Indian Reservation, where he intended to engage in sexual activity, according to the indictment.
Escalante is an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian Tribe. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
