Orla E. Seidenkranz, age 94, of Clintonville passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville.
Orla Edith Seidenkranz was born on April 9, 1923 in Marion to the late Erich and Hatti (Nehring) Seidenkranz. She grew up in the Marion area and graduated from Marion High School. In her early years, Orla began working in the office at FWD Corporation, Clintonville, for some time. She moved to Wauwatosa and was employed doing clerical duties at a hospital in Milwaukee for many years. After the hospital closed, Orla started doing secretarial tasks at a Milwaukee area law firm for a number of years.
In 2010 she returned to the area settling at Sun Valley Manor in Clintonville. Orla is a former member of St. John Lutheran Church, Marion, and is currently a member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. She enjoyed watching the daily news and liked going window shopping. Orla loved animals, especially dogs.
Survivors include one niece and four nephews, Allen Helms of Tigerton, Pat Siegel of Clintonville, Dennis (Fran) Johnson of Tigerton, Jim Johnson of Tigerton, and Dave (Margaret) Seidenkranz of Clintonville. Orla is further survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death a sister, Vivian (Arthur) Johnson; three brothers, Florian, Vilas (Rose), and Lester (Margaret) Seidenkranz; a niece, Betty Helms; and a nephew, Delmar Siegel.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 11:00 AM at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Rev. Ben Hollingsead will officiate and burial will be at Greenleaf Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting the family.
