The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office says a Sunday afternoon crash in Waupaca County that remains under investigation was the result of an SUV hitting a culvert in a median, then overturning and hitting another vehicle before ending up in a ditch. It happened on Highway 10 in Farmington. The SUV was heading eastbound but it was when it went into the westbound lanes that it hit another car. Authorities say the driver of the SUV suffered significant injuries and was taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s department responded to the accident and was assisted by the Waupaca Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Waupaca Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance.
Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved pending notification of family members.
