
The Pulaski School Board has approved a new contract Superintendent Rebecca J. Kurzynske.
The unanimous vote was cast at the districts business meeting Wednesday night. Kurzynke became superintendent in January 2016 after serving as the interim superintendent.
“The board is pleased to renew Mrs. Kurzynske’s contract. She understands the values of our diverse district and is very visible in the community. She has a deep concern for the well-being of our students and staff and is a strong advocate for our children and schools,” said board President Michael Voelker.
Kurzynske was thankful to the board and expressed excitement about the future.
“I look forward to continuing to work with the board, our staff, students, and the community for years to come, and I thank the board for trusting me to serve the best interests of our district,” Mrs. Kurzynske said.
The new contract takes effect January 1, 2018 runs through June of 2020.
